Terms of use

The ground rules, in plain language.

These terms govern access to Erudite Interactive's website, pilot program, and authoring service. By using the service, you agree to them.

Effective August 10, 2026

Using Erudite

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Erudite for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access credentials confidential.

Pilot access may be limited, changed, or ended while we evaluate the product. A pilot does not guarantee general availability, a particular feature, or continued access after the pilot period.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Erudite. You give us the limited permission needed to host, copy, process, transform, display, and transmit that content to operate the features you request and support your workspace.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use the content you submit. You are responsible for reviewing generated materials before publishing or assigning them to learners, including for accuracy, accessibility, licensing, suitability, and compliance with your organization's policies.

AI-generated output

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to content produced for others. It should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other professional advice. You must review and approve generated slides, interactions, scripts, media, and assessments before relying on or distributing them.

To deliver requested AI features, Erudite may send relevant prompts and content to third-party providers as described in our Privacy notice.

Acceptable use

You may not use Erudite to:

  • Break the law, violate another person's rights, or distribute harmful content.
  • Upload content you do not have permission to use.
  • Probe, disrupt, bypass, or interfere with security or service limits.
  • Introduce malware, scrape the service at scale, or access another user's account.
  • Represent AI output as verified when it has not been appropriately reviewed.

Availability and changes

We may improve, add, remove, or limit features and may suspend access when reasonably needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or misuse. We aim to provide a dependable service, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before the change takes effect when required. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Erudite is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties not expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Erudite Interactive is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so those limits may not apply to you. Any pilot-specific or enterprise agreement signed by both parties controls if it conflicts with these website terms.
