Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to give us, such as your name, company name, business email, account details, support messages, and the content or files you submit while using Erudite.
Product and website activity
We may collect basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and understand the service. This can include browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, pages visited, referring pages, feature activity, and diagnostic events. We use Vercel Analytics on the public website and remove query strings and page fragments before events are sent.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Erudite.
- Create and manage accounts, workspaces, courses, and pilot requests.
- Generate requested slides, interactions, narration, imagery, or other content.
- Respond to questions and communicate about a requested pilot or service update.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect users and the service.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
A pilot-program submission is used to evaluate and respond to that request. We do not use the pilot form as permission to send unrelated marketing.
AI processing and service providers
When you use an AI-powered feature, the prompt and the content needed to complete the request may be sent to the provider supporting that feature. Depending on the feature, providers may include services for language, image, voice, video, infrastructure, storage, and analytics. We use providers to perform services for Erudite, and their processing is also governed by their applicable terms.
Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, regulated health information, payment-card data, or confidential material unless your organization has approved that use and we have agreed to the appropriate safeguards in writing.
Sharing, selling, and advertising
We may share information with service providers that help us run Erudite, with an organization that administers your workspace, when you ask us to share or publish content, or when required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law. We may also transfer information as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use pilot-request details for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and your choices
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support legitimate business needs, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and how it is used.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to certain uses. You can make a request through the pilot form on our homepage or through the support channel provided to your organization. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law allows or requires it.
Children, international use, and changes
Erudite is a business authoring service and is not directed to children under 13. If an organization uses exported training with learners, that organization is responsible for selecting an appropriate audience and obtaining required consents.
Information may be processed in countries other than your own. We will update this notice as our product or practices change and will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated when required.
